Workshop outline

Mobility as a Service (MaaS) is currently a hot topic, with implications for policy, business models and data sharing. But how do we ensure it appeals to the users by making the experience of MaaS better than that of ownership? ‘Mobility’ after all is not an end in itself, but a means to an end, enabling us to get on with our lives.

This event brought together industry, the public sector and researchers. It mapped out what we need to know about users to help take MaaS from a concept to a reality looking at some potentially  creative ways of getting at the answers. The workshop offered a forum to  discuss how this knowledge might be used to support the development of MaaS in the UK while identifying potential funding streams for collaboration to tackle some of these issues.

Structured around thought-provoking talks and  hands-on idea generation, this event mapped out the imperative user research needed for MaaS to be successful.

We are pleased to present a group of workshop supporting documents, including the workshop programme, a “Contributors” document which includes the profile of the presenters and abstracts of their contributions, and the excellent workshop presentations that were delivered in this event.
